Method 1: Check for your USB port- working or not

Method 2: Adjust your keyboard settings

Method 4: Update your keyboard, and USB driver

An old keyboard or USB driver is one of the most common causes of an unresponsive keyboard. And there are two ways to get rid of this irritating driver of a keyboard and USB port, and they are manually or automatically.

Manual driver update: You can update your drivers manually searching most recent drive from the manufacturer’s website. In the case of USB driver, you have to try both the manufacturer of your USB port’s chipset and the manufacturer of your PC.

Method 5: update your BIOS

If your Windows 10 keyboard is not working even if it connected, first make sure your BIOS version is up-to-date, or it needs to be updated. The BIOS is an acronym for Basic Input and Output System, which controls the attached devices such as the keyboard, mouse, video adapter, hard disk, and printer. Therefore, if the BIOS is corrupted or outdated, your keyboard will not work.

Method 6: Use the Windows Key + Space shortcut

Method 8: Disable Windows 10 Fast Startup

Step 1: Go to Control Panel >> Power Options or you can right click on the battery icon which located at the bottom right corner and form it choose Power Options.

Step 2: On the left board, click on Choose what the power button does option and Scroll down to Shutdown settings section, deselect the Turn on fast startup option. At last, save all changes.

Step 1: Shutdown your laptop, then turn it on and concurrently press F2, DEL (or F12) to enter into BIOS setup.

Step 1: From the search bar go to the Control Panel
